Acrylic Painting - Styles & Techniques

Course intent

SAL’s intent is to provide inclusive learning in the community which enhances personal development, encourages learners to live healthy, active lives and improves employability and skills.

The course will establish a range of styles and techniques of Acrylic Painting through the study and practise of traditional and more contemporary artists

What will we cover?

You will learn to…

  • Develop the use of tone, colour, composition and perspective.
  • Gain confidence in using Acrylic materials and be encouraged to take part in group discussions.
  • Cover a range of techniques and styles from the traditional to the more modern.
  • There will be access to one-to-one support as well as group discussions on various topics.
  • Develop personal expression through a mixture of practice, discussion and demonstration techniques

For courses of more than one session, you will find you make the most progress if you attend every taught lesson and complete any self-directed study opportunities provided.
