Use your voice to make a difference
Are you a young person with additional needs or a disability? Do you live, work, or study in Surrey? We'd love you to join our Local Offer writers' group and use your voice to make a difference!
This is your chance to share your experiences, insights, and stories with other young people, as well as the professionals who support them. Whether it's about life, education, work, preparing for adulthood, or disability culture, your perspective matters.
As a writer, your work will be featured on the Local Offer website and may also appear on our social media channels or in our Additional Needs and Disability newsletter, which reaches nearly 2,000 readers.
We are seeking articles on a broad range of topics from everyday life as a young person with additional needs to navigating education or exploring work opportunities.
To get involved or for more information, get in touch at localoffer@surrey.gov.uk or use the Local Offer article submission form to send us your first article!
