With schools breaking up for the summer holidays, this year we have compiled a list of summer 2025 activities in Surrey, which your child or young person with additional needs and disabilities (AND) may enjoy attending.

North-West (Surrey Heath, Runnymede and Woking) 

Under 5s

  • Little Portesberries at Portesbery School, Newfoundland Road, Deepcut for families with children 0-5 years with AND. Siblings 11 years and under are welcome and your child does not need a diagnosis to attend. Tel 01252 832100. 10am – 12 noon Thursday 24 July, Thursday 21 August and Thursday 28 August.
  • SEND Play and Learn at Surrey Heath Family Centre, Kingston Road, Camberley for families with children 0-5 years with AND. Siblings 11 years and under are welcome and your child does not need a diagnosis to attend . Tel 01276 462897.   • Events at Surrey Heath Family Centre:
    • Healthy Baby Clinic. Tuesdays: 29 July, 12 and 19 August 9.15 to 11am. Get baby weighed and speak to a Health Professional. After weighing your baby stay for a play and chat.
    • Play with Me. Every Tuesday 1 to 2.30pm. A fun play and learn session for pre-school  children.
    • Camberley Breastfeeding Hub, every Friday, 11 to 12.30pm. Meet the team to discuss all your feeding needs.
    • Sensory Space, every Friday. Book a free 45-minute session to enjoy our sensory space with your children.

  • National Autistic Society (NAS) Surrey Branch Family Adventure Crazy Golf Event Group outing to Mr Mulligan's Pirate crazy golf, where families can play together. Tuesday 19 July 3 to 4.30pm. £4 per player (parents and children) or £5 to include tea.
  • LinkAble Inclusive Games 2025. An inclusive sport event by learning disability and autism charity LinkAble, offering the opportunity to try accessible sports in a relaxed, friendly environment. Woking Sportsbox. Tuesday 26 August 10.30am to 4pm. All ages and abilities welcome.
  • LinkAble holiday schemes at The Link, Woking, ages 5 to 11. £36 per session during the summer holidays 9.30am to 4pm. You must be registered with LinkAble.
  • Club4 Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) summer camps for children who receive benefit-related freeschool meals.
    • Free SEND specific Stay and Play at Surrey Hills and Rivers at Imbhams Farm, Haslemere. If you are eligible for benefits-related freeschool means, you will receive a voucher from your school which provides a link to the camps booking system
    • Free Year 5 to 11 inclusive mainstream acting movement and design workshops at Peer Productions, The Ypod Centre, Woking. If you are eligible for benefits-related freeschool means, you will receive a voucher from your school which provides a link to the camps booking system
  • Inflatable Giant Inflatable at Woking Leisure Centre Special Educational Needs (SEN) quiet sessions with fewer participants for ages 6 to16 years:  Monday 1 to 2pm, Tuesday 2 to 3.30pm, Wednesday 1 to 2pm, Thursday 3.30 to 5pm, Sunday 1 to 2pm. £8.60 per child.
  • AirHop at Jump In Adventure Park, Camberley, perfect for autism groups and for parents looking for activities in a calmer environment, without music and reduced lighting to avoid glare. Mondays 6 to 7pm. Age 4+. £12 per person including one carer.
  • Surrey SEND Short Breaks. These sessions are specifically for families currently eligible for the Short Breaks service. They include outdoor adventures like archery, woodland crafts, and climbing, to creative workshops and sensory-friendly sessions.  There are also family stay-and-play activities such as canal boating, soft play, and much more. Please note, activities are continuously being added, so we encourage families to check back regularly.   • Managing Emotions Workshop at Surrey Heath Family Centre. Wednesday 6 August 10 to11.30am. freesession for children up to 11 years and their parents.
  • Pizza and Pool at Surrey Heath Family Centre every Thursday starting 24 July 1.30 to 3pm. freesession for young people aged 10-18.
  • Sensory Space, every Friday at Surrey Heath Family Centre. Book a free 45-minute session to enjoy our sensory space with your children
  • Summer Lunch Project in Addlestone. free packed lunch a child (regardless of circumstances) Monday 28 July to Friday 29 July, 12 noon to 12.45pm at: St Paul’s Church, School Lane or Tesco, 117 Station Road or Longden Avenue, off Strawberry Fields.   • Surrey Outdoor Learning and Development (SOLD) Inclusive family experiences with children (of any age) and adults who have learning needs and disabilities on the Angel Blue Canal Boat, docked at Dapdune Wharf, Guildford, which is wheelchair accessible. 5 August, 9 August, 19 August, 29 August 10am to 3pm
  • Surrey Outdoor Learning and Development (SOLD) Inclusive family experiences with children (of any age) and adults who have learning needs and disabilities at Henley Fort, Guildford. Inclusive, accessible sessions tailored to each family’s needs and led by professional instructors, with a choice of land activities to enjoy. 25 July, 31 July, 8 August, 10 August, 13 August, 19 August, 23 August, 29 August. 9.30am to 12.30pm and/or 1.30 to 4.30pm.

  • Guildford Shakespeare Company, Together SEND Holiday Club. Age 12 to 25. Free club for SEN young people run by professional facilitators exploring Shakespeare, rehearsing scenes, play fun drama games and use crafts to create props, masks and more. 18 to 22 August. 10.30am to 2.30pm.
  • Surrey SEND Short Breaks. These sessions are specifically for families currently eligible for the Short Breaks service. They include outdoor adventures like archery, woodland crafts, and climbing, to creative workshops and sensory-friendly sessions.  There are also family stay-and-play activities such as canal boating, soft play, and much more.   • Chips holiday playscheme at Guildford Grove or Ash Grange school, Monday 28 July to Friday 22 August 9am to 4.30pm. School years 1 to 6. Children with mild SEN such as autism, speech and language difficulties and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and/or disabilities are fully included in all activities supported by qualified, Disclosure and Baring Service (DBS) checked playworkers.
