Introducing Surrey Nature Recovery
Surrey is home to amazing wildlife and beautiful landscapes. This nature is vital in contributing to our health, well-being, and sense of place. Like the rest of the UK, Surrey's nature needs our help to maintain and build its biodiversity.
That is why we are working with a team of partners to create a nature recovery plan. The aim is to reconnect and improve our green spaces, to allow nature to thrive across the county.
Everyone is invited on the adventure to learn how to help some of Surrey's most precious habitats and species and play a part in nature recovery.
Enjoy a free family day out on Saturday 28 September, packed with nature-themed activities for everyone. The day will feature performances of 'Wild Walks', produced and directed by Guildford Shakespeare Company. Please note that pre-booking is essential.
- Take the fun, educational Young Ecologists quiz. This is designed especially for younger residents, or those young at heart!
- Learn about the new plan for Surrey Nature Recovery and have your say online.
- Put a pin in the interactive map to tell us about your favourite green space in Surrey.
