Starting school or transferring to Key Stage Transfer Year group can be an anxious time for any child, especially for children with additional needs and or disabilities.
A child may need additional support or a change in the way support is delivered, after starting a Key Stage Transfer Year group or during the transfer process.
You may need to speak to your child's teacher or the school's Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO), to make sure that their needs are understood and supported.
