Bogus caller alarms
Can sound an alarm if someone at the door makes you feel unsafe. The alarms are discrete and look like ordinary light switches.
Careline buttons and boxes
Splash proof alarm buttons you can wear around your neck as a pendant or on your wrist. The alarm works together with an alarm unit fitted in the property.
Monitoring centre staff answer the call when you press the alarm button. The alarm system can link to other kinds of telecare sensors.
Carer alert systems
An internal alarm system where you can contact carers or family members in your flat or house. This system can link other kinds of devices and sensors.
Epilepsy monitors
You put these sensors between the bed base and the mattress. They say when you are having a seizure in bed. You can adjust and delay them to stop false alarm calls.
Fall detectors
Good if you can't press the alarm button on your pendant or wristband. Can be useful if you have blackouts or collapse with little or no warning.
Flood detectors
Can help by setting off an alarm if water is overflowing from a sink or bath.
Heat detectors
Detects high or low temperatures within the property. Is useful in detecting conditions that can lead to hypothermia.
Keysafes
Allows someone to access to your house or flat. They can be helpful in an emergency of if you've had a fall.
Personal care alarms, smoke alarms and sensors
Personal care, smoke and sensor alarms can help people stay independent and get quick help at home.
Pill dispensers
Remind people to take their tablets. If you miss a dose, some dispensers can alert a monitoring centre. The centre will contact a family member or carer. Can be for 7 days and up to a month. They can be set to how many doses you need a day.
Smoke alarms
Personal care, smoke and sensor alarms can help people stay independent and get quick help at home.
