Gives information and support on looking after yourself and caring for someone with dementia.

Admiral Nurse Dementia Helpline

Run by Dementia UK. Specialist dementia nurses give free, expert advice.

Alzheimer's Research UK

Gives general information about symptoms, causes, diagnosis, risk factors and treatments. Carries out dementia research and how you can get involved.

Alzheimer's Society

Has a dementia directory for finding support near you. Has many support services, for example:

  • a listening ear on the phone
  • visits in person
  • connecting with others
  • help to find out more about dementia
  • coping techniques
  • information on Lasting Power of Attorney
  • Talking Point online community

Run by Alzheimer's Society. Gives information, support and advice.
