Changes of preference
Once you have submitted your application you can make a change to your preferences (including the order of your preferences) at any time up to the closing date of 15 January 2024. If the closing date has passed, we may be able to make a change to your preferences if there is good reason for doing this, such as a change of address - supported by written details and evidence – but only if the details are received by 8 February 2024.
Any changes without good reason or that are requested after 8 February will not be taken into account until after 16 April 2024 when waiting lists are formed.
Late applications
If you submit your application without a good reason after the deadline, your application will be treated as late. This may affect the possibility of your child being offered a place at one of your preferred schools.
You can make a late application online using the eAdmissions website until 19 August 2024.

Between 16 January and 8 February 2024
We expect all applicants to apply by the closing date, even if they plan to move address. If there is a genuine reason for a late application that means you could not reasonably have applied before the closing date, supported by written details and evidence, we will treat your application as on-time if the details reach us on or by 8 February 2024.
After 8 February 2024
All applications received after 8 February 2024 will be treated as late applications and only considered after all on-time applications have been processed. It is likely that there will be no vacancies at the school(s) you applied for, as these will have been allocated to those applying on time. However, if there are vacancies we will co-ordinate offers of places to these schools for late applicants, based on each school's admission criteria. If there are no vacancies your child may be placed on the waiting list for the school(s) you have applied for.
After 16 April 2024
Any application received after 16 April 2024 will be treated for waiting list purposes alongside on time applications, with any places allocated according to each school's admission criteria and not according to whether the application was received on-time or late or the date the child was added to the waiting list.
Applications received towards the end of the summer term or during the summer holidays may not receive an outcome until the start of the autumn term, due to school closures during the summer break.
