Fitness tests for becoming a firefighter

Fitness assessments

The bleep test is a multi-stage fitness test in which you must do 20 metre shuttle runs in time with the bleeps. The test is conducted on a flat surface and is a progressive maximal test, which means it gets progressively harder. You will be expected to achieve level 8.8.
