New popular library commission

Crime and thriller novels consistently top the list of most borrowed books from libraries and we're a nation of mystery lovers. With libraries now firmly recognised as community and cultural hubs, Farnham Maltings are inviting proposals for a new piece of theatre for libraries that plays with the crime genre. They are looking for ideas that are enticing and relevant and that might not look like theatre nor a traditional murder mystery event; they don't have to be adaptations of a book and should be high quality, joyful and interactive.

The work will be created in partnership with a library in Buckinghamshire and Surrey ready for presentation in those spaces in March and April 2023.

Please visit the Farnham Maltings website to see more information and apply. Closing date for submissions is 9am on Monday 28 November 2022
