Before you start, please read our guidelines including how we calculate home to school distances.
Please note, this map cannot be used to measure home to school distance for travel assistance purposes.
1. Select phase of school
- Use the slider buttons to toggle school phases on or off.
- Example: On =

- Click the refresh icon
to clear selections.
2. Search by postcode/address
- Enter a postcode in the search bar and select an address from the dropdown. The map will zoom to that location.
- Alternatively, use the "Point" icon
to click directly on the map. - You can zoom in using your mouse wheel or the "+" icon on the map.
- Tip: Searching by postcode and selecting an address from the dropdown is usually more accurate.
3. Adjust search distance
- Modify the search radius around your location, if needed.
- Click the refresh icon
after adjusting the distance to update the results.
4. View school results
- Results will appear in the left-hand pane, sorted by proximity to the nearest school gate.
- Click any school in the list to zoom to its location and view details.
- School gates are marked on the map. Note that some schools may have multiple gates.
- Click the clear results icon
to start a new search.
