Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2023
On 16 August 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of;
a) Wray Lane (D1182) Reigate and;
b) suspend "The Surrey County Council D1182 Wray Lane Reigate Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023" in its entirety.
Alternative Route: (A217) Reigate Hill, Raglan Road, and (A242) Croydon Road or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to carry telecom works by, or on behalf of JSM Group. These works are anticipated to be completed over 4 nights between the hours of 8pm and 4am during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 31 August 2023.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
