Wick Lane (D3112) Englefield Green
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023
On 12 July 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; a) Wick Lane (D3112) Englefield Green as extends from its junction with (X97007) Prospect Lane and for a distance of 104 meters in a northerly direction along Wick Lane, and;
b) suspend "The Surrey County Council D3112 Wick Lane Englefield Green Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order No.2 2022" insofar as it affects that length of road specified in part (a) to this Notice.
Alternative Route: Wick Lane, Bishopsgate Road, The Green, Northcroft Road, and Kings Lane or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to carry out gas mains connection works by, or on behalf of Cadent Gas. These works are anticipated to be completed over 16 days between 8am and 5pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 24 July 2023.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in force 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access for the emergency services and all other traffic will be via the signed diversion route.
