Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2023
On 16 August 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Wick Lane (D3112) Englefield Green as extends from its junction with (D3113) Kings Lane to its junction with (D3112) Wick Road.
Alternative Route: Wick Lane, Bishopsgate Road, (A328) St Judes Road, (A30) London Road, and Wick Road or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to carry out new electrical connection works by, or on behalf of SSEN. These works are anticipated to be completed within 7 days between the hours of 8am and 4pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 29 August 2023.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in force 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
