Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023

On 07 June 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of White Hill Lane (C70) Bletchingley as extends from its junction with (X35061) The Conduit and for a distance of 90 meters in a southerly direction along White Hill Lane (C70) Bletchingley.

Alternative Route: Spring Bottom Lane, Warwick Wold Road, Bletchingley Road, Pendell Road, Sandy Lane, Brewer Street, and White Hill Lane or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to facilitate bridge joint investigation works for or on behalf of Octavius Infrastructure. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 nights between the hours of 9pm and 5am, during the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 26 June 2023.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
