Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

On 13 March 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Victoria Way (A320) Woking as extends from its junction with (D7281) Church Street West to its junction with (D7244) Goldsworth Road.

Alternative Route: (1) (A324) Lockfield Drive, (A324) Harelands Roundabout, Parley Drive, Triggs Lane, Wych Hill, Wych Hill Lane, (A320) Turnoak Roundabout, and (A320) Guildford Road;

(2) Goldsworth Road, Church Street West, and Forge End.

This Order is required to facilitate mobile crane operational works for, or on behalf of Citylifting Ltd. These works are anticipated to be carried out within 2 days between the hours of 5am and 11.59pm Saturday and Sunday only, within 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 30 March 2024.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other traffic, including the emergency services will be required to use the signed diversion route.
