Vann Lane (D162) Chiddingfold and Skinners Lane (D163) Chiddingfold
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023
On 05 July 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of a) Vann Lane (D162) Chiddingfold as extends from its junction with (D163) Skinners Lane and in a north easterly direction for a distance of 600 meters and; b) Skinners Lane (D163) Chiddingfold as extends from its junction with (D162) Vann Lane and in a north westerly direction for a distance of 60 meters.
Alternative Route: (1) Vann Lane, White Beech Lane, High Street Green, Pickhurst Road, and Pockford Road and; (2) Pockford Road, The Green, Petworth Road, and Skinners Lane.
This Order is required to facilitate installation of water meter exchange works for, or on behalf of Morrisons Water Services. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day between the hours of 8am and 5pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 17 July 2023.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
