Trumps Green Road (C10) Virginia Water
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.3) 2023
On 25 October 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14 (7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Trumps Green Road (C10) Virginia Water as extends from the bridge known as "Trumps Green Road Bridge" and for a distance of 30 meters either side; and,
(b) Suspend "The Surrey County Council Trumps Green Road (C10) Virginia Water Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023" in its entirety.
Alternative Route: Trumps Green Road, Sandhills Lane, Green Road, Lyne Lane, Bridge Lane, and Trumps Green Road or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to facilitate removal of vegetation and installation bridge plate works for, or on behalf of Dyer and Butler. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 2 nights between the hours of 11pm and 6am within 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 06 November 2023.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
