Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023
On 26 April 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Studios Road (D6299) Shepperton.
There is no alternative route for this closure.
This Order is required to facilitate S 278 Works to complete resurfacing works for or on behalf of Hillstreet UK Ltd. These works are anticipated to be completed over 5 nights between the hours of 8pm and 5am within 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 15 May 2023.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians will be maintained at all times. It will not be possible to maintain access through the closure for emergency services, residents, and businesses whilst works are in progress.
