Station Approach (D3759) West Byfleet
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.3) 2023

On 25 October 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Station Approach (D3759) West Byfleet as extends from its (A245) Old Woking Road to its junction with (D3759) Madeira Road;

b) suspend "The Surrey County Council Station Approach (D3759) West Byfleet Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2023" in its entirety.

Alternative Route: Madeira Road, (A245) Sheerwater Road, and (A245) Old Woking Road, or this same route in reverse.

This Order is required to carry out sewer connection works by, or on behalf of NG Tunnelling. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 6 days, between 8am and 4.30pm during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 06 November 2023.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure and suspension, which is anticipated to be force 24 per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists. All other traffic will be required to follow the diversion route. N.B: Delivery vehicles for "Waitrose" will be via the exit route on Maderia Road.
