Silkmore Lane (D250) West Horsley
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023
On 31 May 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Silkmore Lane (D250) West Horsley as extends from its junction with (X250) Tintells Lane to its junction with (C41) The Street.
This Order is required to facilitate installation of new customer telecom connection works for or on behalf of BT Openreach. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 22 June 2023.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times via the operatives on site, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
There is no alternative route for this closure.
