Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023

On 03 May 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Sangers Drive (D567) Horley as extends from a point in line with the common boundary between No.46 and No.48 Sangers Drive to a point in line with the common boundary between No.52 and No.54 Sangers Drive.

Alternative Route – Sangers Drive, Court Lodge Road, Vicarage Lane, (A23) Brighton Road, Church Road and Sangers Drive or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to facilitate telecom communication maintenance works by or on behalf of Avonline. These works are anticipated to be completed over 5 nights between the hours of 8pm and 5am within 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 22 May 2023.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access for emergency services will be maintained in an emergency situation only via road plates. All other vehicular traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route.
