Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023
On 7 June 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Ruxbury Road (D3003) Chertsey.
Alternative Route: St Anns Road, (A320) Chilsey Green Road, (A320) Pycroft Road, (A320) Bell Bridge Road, (A320) Guildford Road, (B386) Holloway Hill, (C127) Hardwick Lane, and (D3005) Almners Road or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to facilitate overhead structural telecom connection works for or on behalf of BT Openreach. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 26 June 2023.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times via the operatives on site, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
