Recreation Road (D5308) Farnham and Cherry Tree Road (D5308) Farnham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023

On 02 August 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in;

a) the entire length of Recreation Road (D5308) Farnham and;

b) the entire length of Cherry Tree Road (D5308) Farnham.

Alternative Route: Fullers Road and School Road or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to facilitate installation of new track, boxes and chamber works for, or on behalf of Swish Fibre. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 12 days between the hours of 7am and 6pm Monday to Friday only, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 14 August 2023.

The works in part (a) are anticipated to be carried out between 14 August 2023 and 18 August 2023 and the works in part

(b) are anticipated to be carried out between 21 August 2023 and 25 August 2023.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
