Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023
On 03 May 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Pastures Wood Road (D280) Abinger.
Alternative Route:- Horsham Road, Felday Road, (A25) Guildford Road, Hollow Lane, Abinger Lane and Pastures Wood Road.
This Order is required to facilitate telecom connection works for or on behalf of Freeflow TM. These works are anticipated to be completed over 5 days, between the hours of 8am and 6pm within 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 22 May 2023.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists. All other traffic will be required to follow the alternative route described above.
