Mustard Mill Road (D6362) and Hale Street (D3283) Staines Upon Thames
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023

On 20 September 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of;

a) Mustard Mill Road (D6362) Staines Upon Thames as extends from its junction with (A308) South Street to its junction with (D3283) Hale Street; and

b) Hale Street (D3283) Staines Upon Thames as extends from its junction with (D6362) Mustard Mill Road to its junction with (B376) Wraysbury Road.

Alternative Route: (A308) South Street, (A308) Thames Street, (A308) High Street, (A308) Clarence Street, (B376) Bridge Street, (B376) Wraysbury Road.

This Order is required to carry out installation of road tables, extension of traffic island and resurfacing works by, or on behalf of Surrey County Council. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible within the 18-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 6 October 2023.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in force 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.

Access for businesses will be maintained when and where it is safe to do so. All other vehicular access through the closure, including the emergency services will be required to use the signed diversion route. No sole access will be affected by this closure.
