Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023
On 07 June 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Muncaster Close (D3253) Ashford.
There is no alternative route for this closure.
This Order is required to facilitate relaying service pipe connection works for or on behalf of Affinity Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 4 days between the hours of 8am and 4pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 26 June 2023.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles, residents, pedestrians, and cyclists will be maintained at all times either by trench links or road plates.
