Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023
On 24 May 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Monument Green (D3878) Weybridge as extends from a point in line with the common boundary between No.28 and No.29 Monument Green to its junction with (A317) High Street.
This Order is required to facilitate new gas connection works for or on behalf of SGN. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 5 days between the hours of 8am and 4pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 12 June 2023.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via road plates, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
There is no alternative route for this closure.
