Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2023
On 26 July 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of;
a) Middle Hill (D7007) Englefield Green as extends from its junction with (D3126) Harvest Road to its junction with (D3131) Tite Hill, and;
b) suspend "The Surrey County Council Middle Hill (D7007) Englefield Green Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023" insofar as it affects that length of road specified in part (a) to this Notice.
Alternative Route: Middle Hill, (A328) St Judes Road, and Barley Mow Road or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to carry out mains water connection works by, or on behalf of Affinity Water. These works are anticipated to be completed over 5 days between 8am and 5pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 07 August 2023.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in force 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access for the emergency services and all other traffic will be via the signed diversion route.
