Meath Green Lane (D334) Horley and Greenfields Road (D572) Horley
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023

On 02 August 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of;

a) Meath Green Lane (D334) Horley as extends from its junction with (D572) Greenfields Road to its junction with (D337) Parkhurst Road, and;

b) the entire length of Greenfields Road (D572) Horley.

Alternative Route: a) Greenfields Road, Kingsley Road, Wellington Way, Horley Row, and Meath Green Lane, and;

b) Meath Green Lane, Horley Row, Wellington Way, and Kingsley Road.

This Order is required to facilitate highways improvement and/or maintenance works by or on behalf of Surrey County Council. These works are anticipated to be carried out within 5 weeks within the 18 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 15 August 2023.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists. All other vehicular traffic will be required to follow the diversion route.

N.B The closures will not be in operation at the same time as each other.
