London Road (A30) Bagshot
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023
On 20 June 2023 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of London Road (A30) Bagshot as extends from its junction at the roundabout with (A322) Grove End to its junction with the northbound exit slip road on to (A322) Bracknell Road.
Alternative Route – a) (A30) Northeast bound, exit onto (A322) Bracknell Road, (A322) Swinley Road, (A322) Swinley roundabout, (A322) Bracknell Road, (A322) Grove End and (A30) London Road; b) (A30) Southwest bound, turn left onto (A322) Grove End, (A322) Bagshot Bypass, (A322) Bagshot Bypass roundabout, (A322) Bagshot Bypass and (A30) London Road.
This Order is required to facilitate bridge joint replacement works and/or resurfacing works and/or utility maintenance works to be carried out by, or on behalf of Surrey County Council within the length of road described in this notice. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 7 nights, between the hours of 9pm and 6am within the 18-month period of operation of the Temporary Order that commences on 30 June 2023.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access for residents, the emergency services and all other traffic will be via the signed diversion route.
