Littleheath Lane (D6855) Cobham and Blundel Lane (D6864) Cobham
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023

On 16 August 2023 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of

a) Littleheath Lane (D6855) Cobham that is crossed by the level crossing known as "Cooks Level Crossing" and for a distance of 20 metres and

b) in that length of Blundel Lane (D6864) Cobham that is crossed by the level crossing known as "Cooks Level Crossing" for a distance of 20 metres.

Alternative Route: Littleheath Lane, Water Lane, Fairmile Lane, (A245) Stoke Road, and Blundel Lane or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to facilitate telecom and signal maintenance works to be carried out by, or on behalf of Centurion within the length of roads described in this notice. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 2 nights between the hours of 10pm and 6am within the 18-month period of operation of this Temporary Traffic Order which commences on 29 August 2023.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of roads, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained at all times, as will pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.
