Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023
On 24 May 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of a) Kings Road (D3072) New Haw as extends from its junction with (B385) Woodham Lane to its junction with (D3072) Braeside and; b) that length of Pinewood Grove (D3073) New Haw as extends from its junction with (B385) Woodham Lane to its junction with (D3075) Parkside.
Alternative Route:- 1) Kings Road, Braeside, Scotland Bridge Road, and Woodham Lane, or this route in reverse and; b) Pinewood Grove, Broomfield Road, Braeside, Scotland Bridge Road and Woodham Lane or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to facilitate main sewer repair works for or on behalf of Sapphire Utility Solutions. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day between the hours of 8am and 5pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 14 June 2023.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
