Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023
On 14 June 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Keens Lane (D54) Guildford as extends from its junction with (D54) Tangley Lane to its junction with (D4032) Findlay Drive.
Alternative Route: Keens Lane, (A322) Worplesdon Road, and Tangley Lane or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to facilitate installation of telecom connection works for or on behalf of BT Openreach. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 2 days between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 03 July 2023.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists. All other vehicular traffic will be required to follow the diversion route.
