How Lane (D1080) Chipstead
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2023

On 18 October 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of;

(i) How Lane (D1080) Chipstead as extends from its junction with (D1079) Bouverie Road to its junction with the access to the property known "Woodland Farm"; and

(ii) Suspend "The Surrey County Council How Lane (D1080) Chipstead Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023" in its entirety.

Alternative Route: Coulsdon Lane, Portnalls Road, and (B2032) Chipstead Valley Road or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to facilitate new telecom connection works for, or on behalf of Avonline Networks. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 2 days between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm within 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 31 October 2023.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
