Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023
On 10 May 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of High Street (D6923) West Molesey as extends from its junction with (D6922) Priory Lane to its junction with (D6923) Yeend Close.
Alternative Route- High Street, Walton Road, Molesey Road, Pool Road, Island Farm Road, Approach Road, and High Street.
This Order is required to facilitate installation of new water connection works for or on behalf of Morrisons Utility Services. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 5 days between the hours of 8am and 5pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 30 May 2023.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times via the road plates on site, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
