High Street (A25) Redhill
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023

On 26 July 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of High Street (A25) Redhill as extends from its roundabout with (A23) Brighton Road and (A23) Marketfield Way to its junction with (A25) Cromwell Road.

Alternative Route: (A23) Marketfield Way, (A23) Princess Way, (A25) London Road, (A25) Queensway, (A25) Station Road, (A25) St Matthews Road, and (A25) Cromwell Road or this route in reverse.

This Order is required to facilitate crane lifting works for, or on behalf of Shift Traffic Events. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 24 days between the hours of 7am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 03 August 2023.

Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
