Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023
On 12 April 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Green lane (D248) Ockham; b) suspend "The Surrey County Council Green Lane (D248) Ockham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023" in its entirety.
Alternative route: - (B2039) Ockham Road North and (D247) Long Reach or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to carry out replacement works by or on behalf of Triconnex Ltd. These works are anticipated to be completed within 28 days, between 8am and 5pm during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 03 May 2023.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in force 24 per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
