Fengates Road (D1265) Redhill
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023
On 12 July 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Fengates Road (D1265) Redhill as extends from its junction with (A25) Hatchlands Road to its junction with (D1265) Charman Road.
Alternative Route: a) (A25) Hatchlands Road, Linkfield Corner, Station Road, Linkfield Street, and Fengates Road and; b) Fengates Road, Linkfield Street, Fairfax Avenue, Station Road, Linkfield Corner, and (A25) Hatchlands Road.
This Order is required to facilitate sewer cleaning works for or on behalf of Lanes Group PLC. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 24 July 2023.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
