Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023
On 12 July 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Depot Road (D2116) Epsom as extends from its north western junction with (B284) Church Street and for a distance of 85 meters along Depot Road.
Alternative Route- Depot Road and Church Street.
This Order is required to facilitate main sewer repair works for, or on behalf of Sapphire Utility Solutions. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day between the hours of 9am and 5pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 27 July 2023.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
