Crown Road (D3196) Virginia Water
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023
On 13 December 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Crown Road (D3196) Virginia Water as extends from its junction with (D3196) Cabrera Avenue to its junction with (C10) Trumps Green Road.
Alternative Route: Trumps Green Road, Wellington Avenue, and Crown Road, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to facilitate telecom works for, or on behalf of Kelly Traffic Management. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 2 days between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 09 January 2024.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists. All other vehicular traffic will be required to follow the diversion route.
