Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023
On 10 May 2023 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Crossoak Lane from its junction with (A23) Bonehurst Road to its junction with (D1311) Orchard Drive.
Alternative Route – a) Crossoak Lane (NB Height restriction of 13'9"), Picketts Lane, Honey Crock Lane, and Brighton Road or this route in reverse and; b) Bonehurst Road, Ladbroke Road, Langshott (NB Height restriction of 11'6"), and Orchard Drive or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to facilitate highways improvement and/or maintenance works by or on behalf of Surrey County Council. These works are anticipated to be completed within 10 days between the hours of 7am and 3.30pm within 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 29 May 2023.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access to premises within the affected length of road including access by emergency vehicles to these properties will be maintained only when safe to do so, if necessary, via the diversion route. All other traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route. During certain phases of the works, vehicular access to premises may be restricted, when this is the case such restriction of access will apply for no more than eight hours within any 24-hour period.
