Coronavirus: postal applications for blue badges

Following government advice, the blue badge team are working remotely and have limited access to postal applications received from 4 March 2020 onwards.

If you wish to make an application for a new blue badge or to renew a blue badge please do it online, you can ask a friend or someone you trust to help apply on your behalf. If you have can only do a postal application they will still be accepted, but will be subject to a delay due to the fact we have limited access to the office.

    It is quick and easy to apply and renew your Blue Badge online. You can also upload your documents, photograph and pay online.


    What to provide with your application

      You must submit with your application form a photograph, payment, proof of address and identity, and if appropriate proof of automatic eligibility.
