American Battle Monuments Commission - Brookwood American Military Cemetery

Those who rest here were members of the American Expeditionary Forces who lost their lives in the UK or surrounding waters during WW1. There are 468 headstones, 41 are unknowns. The names of 564 servicemen's names missing on land and sea are engraved on the inner walls of the Memorial Chapel.
