Thank you to all our volunteers in Surrey
It's Volunteers Week 1 June to 7 June which is our chance to say a huge thank you to all the volunteers in Surrey for all they do to help our communities daily.
Volunteers across Surrey carry out and continue to carry out acts big and small. They help with picking up prescriptions, delivering food parcels, helping people with shopping, befriending services, walking dogs and have massively helped with the vaccination program across Surrey.
A special thanks goes to the Councils for Voluntary Service (CVSs) and Volunteer Centres in Surrey who are our trusted partners for coordinating volunteers in Surrey.
Surrey Libraries rely heavily on volunteers who come in to help with all sorts of things from being digital buddies, managing stock, or helping with storytimes for little ones. Surrey libraries say a big thank you to all the volunteers who have helped along the way.
