Surrey Arts

If you have a love of music, there are music lessons, orchestras and choirs available for both adults and children. These are provided by Surrey Arts on behalf of the Surrey Music Hub.

Join a musical community

If you love music and play an instrument there are various orchestras available to join across the county – did you know there are over 40 ensembles across the county? Here is an example of just a few:

  • The Guildford Orchestra is now known as the Surrey Arts Community Orchestra and is a friendly and welcoming orchestra with a strong community ethos.
  • The UP! Orchestra is a free inclusive orchestra for experienced musicians, complete beginners and anyone in between!

Also, watch out for 'I Speak Music - Next Generation' which will start in the summer term. This ensemble has been specifically set up to support children currently living in Surrey after being displaced from their birth country due to conflict and/or discrimination.

Music lessons

If you or a child you know want to have music lessons, Surrey Arts provides music lessons for both adults and children across Surrey.
