Eleven libraries announce Jubilee Big Lunches
To ensure that everyone has a chance to get in on the Big Lunch fun – Surrey libraries have organised some Big Lunches in selected libraries to enable people to get together. Eleven Surrey libraries announced their Big Lunch events. Taking place throughout June – the Big Lunch in libraries is a great excuse to get together and have lunch and enjoy some fun activities.
Susan Wills Acting Assistant Director - Cultural Services said "We at Surrey libraries wanted to make sure that everyone in our communities got an opportunity to come together Jubilee or not for a Big Lunch celebration. The Big Lunch is a great initiative for getting communities together and what better place than at libraries who have community at the very heart of what they deliver in their local areas".
