New £10,000 Arts Partnership Surrey fund launched

Arts Partnership Surrey is especially keen to hear from artists from diverse backgrounds and under-represented communities throughout Surrey

A new fund launches today for artists working in Surrey that are interested in creating new projects in collaboration with Arts Partnership Surrey.

Funding of up to £10,000 is available to around five artists and creative organisations working in a range of artforms for a set of one-year projects to be delivered from April 2024.

Arts Partnership Surrey is looking for proposals that meet the following objectives:

  • Health and wellbeing, improving the mental health of our residents and reducing social isolation
  • Economic development, helping our local high streets, businesses and community hubs to thrive
  • Community empowerment, making sure that everyone in Surrey has a voice in their community

What is Arts Partnership Surrey?

Arts Partnership Surrey is a group of local councils working together to create arts for Surrey that meet local social, economic, learning and health needs. The partnership has valuable community links and a track record of delivering high quality art projects in the county. Its members include arts officers and those with a responsibility for arts and culture in Surrey.

An informal online surgery events will be held on Tuesday 5th December for anyone wishing to discuss their idea before making a submission. Please email artspartnership@surreycc.gov.uk to book a slot.
