Learner Rachael Targett was a guest at the Surrey Adult Learning (SAL) GCSE Awards Ceremony, held at the Woking Centre on the 25 November 2016. She is a busy mum and is a qualified nanny who also worked in the probation service.

Supported learning presentation afternoon

On 21 October 2016 Surrey Adult Learning (SAL) celebrated with thirty-two of its Learners on the Supported Learning programme for adults with learning difficulties and/or disabilities who had achieved a nationally recognised qualification with us in July last year. 

Creative writing learner gains scholarship for a Master's Degree

Learner Rachel Nicholson has studied Creative Writing for over two years at the Guildford Centre and recently secured a scholarship to study a Masters Degree in Creative Writing at Oxford Brookes University with the support and encouragement of her Tutor, Guy de Ferrer.

Learners celebrated at Supported Learning Award Ceremony

The Supported Learning Award Ceremony took place on Friday 16 October. Learners, along with their friends and family were with us at the Woking Centre to celebrate this very special occasion as the Principal, Paul Hoffman, presented the awards. Staff joined us as well to share our pride in their achievements and to congratulate them.
