Coronavirus: bus service and concessionary travel disruption

Bus services may be altered or reduced due to the Coronavirus situation. Whilst known information will be published on the buses Temporary Change page, it is suggested that you contact the operator or visit their website or social media, before travelling.

To assist the elderly and disabled who may be travelling by bus to go to supermarkets which are offering special early morning shopping facilities, bus operators in Surrey are allowing free travel for holders of Concessionary passes before 9.30am.

From 2 November free travel for holders of Concessionary passes before 9:30am will no longer be available the Falcon services 456 and 461.

Surrey County Council plans to start gradually reopening libraries across the county from 6 July, in line with Government guidance. Please note: The open libraries will not be processing bus pass applications, the service remains paused.

A free bus pass allows eligible senior Surrey residents to travel on buses free of charge.

It's valid between 9.30am and 11pm from Monday to Friday, and at any time on weekends and public holidays.
